for the video playing, can it play youtube videos as well, or just saved videos on your iphone?

when i want to play ipod, i dont have to go through the home menu, i just press the most right button labelled iPod & iPhone and it starts to play!
probably better to just have your alarm clock app on your Iphone. The device seems innately redundant.

can u remove the time being displayed while watching videos?
is it stereo? Can you plug external speakers into it? on the back it looks like it has two connections on the right.
@MUCHCLUTCH I’m pretty sure you can do exactly that. Keep in mind it only plays MP3 and WMA for audio formats.
@thegallery It is stereo. You cannot plug external spears into it. Those two connectors on the back are for the AM antenna.
@molestingyoutomorrow I just tried it, and yes, it plays even youtube videos on the big screen.
This is really pretty cool!
You can watch anime and stuff on this thing.
To fix the dock sliding in and out you can jam a small piece of folded paper in there. Totally fixes it.
Sound quality is a bit weak, so if you want to use it for music look elsewhere.
Needs a firmware update to fix a few bugs:
– If I plug in the iPhone in Silent mode a message on the iphone pops up saying ‘device does not support iphone’
– Cannot delete stock photos from internal memory
– Cannot adjust alarm brightness level
Hopefully someone somewhere will release some custom firmware
I can’t believe that you cannot delete or disable the stock photo. If you buy this I hope that you have a you blond child with curly hair.
Sad but true. My work around is to just use a memory card instead of the built-in memory.
How bright is this in a dark room? When im going to sleep i dont want a bright light. Does anyone know if you can put it on a mode where there is just the clock?

But don’t you find that the screen is a bit bright at night? Like your trying to sleep at night, and you have literally a small monitor in your face, that is constantly on.
You can turn the display off at night.
Can you set songs from your iPhone or the radio as your alarm?

I’ve been thinking about getting one of these, mainly for use as a picture biewer in my living room, I’ve looked at these in the shops and i really like the idea behind the product, I may still get one some day.
